Why is hydration so important?

Why is hydration so important?

Did you know water makes up 85% of our brain, 80% of our blood and 75% of our muscles? Proper hydration is vital for overall health.

Every cell, tissue and organ in your body needs water to maintain temperature, transport nutrients, remove waste and lubricate joints.

Water requirements depend on many factors, including your body weight, the climate you live in, your sweat rate and more.

For most women doing my programs, I recommend a 2L minimum.

Coffee, tea, and other beverages also count as your daily fluid intake; however, you should use plain water to measure your input.

Are you a water drinker? or do you struggle to get your fluids in? comment below

As a HCW it is a struggle to take the time for water in + output at work, especially now doffing + donning PPE each time. Tracking + taking those micro-breaks has dramatically improved concentration, energy levels, skin/maskne congestion + more.

Prior to starting your program I really struggled to get water in, I honestly just didn’t like it … there were more “exciting” drinks … now I crave it 💧

I try and try, but I never seem to get enough water in within one day. It’s a lot harder than I ever thought.

Yes, I drink water! Sometimes I struggle just because of busyness, but always feel better when I am more consistent!

    I go through phases.

I love water. That and coffee are the only things I regularly drink, but sometimes coffee wins lol

    Water
    Always water 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
    I’m definitely a water drinker
I quit pop over a year ago and just drink water, it helped me also quit vaping (nicotine)
Every time I had a craving I would drink a glass of water and the craving would subside.

I usually drink lots of water but usually need to add lime or lemon juice to really enjoy it. My problem is that I have to visit the bathroom often after drinking water which can be very inconvenient when I’m working or on the go all day!
