Valentine’s Strawberry waffles

Give this recipe a try, make it for your soul mate or yourself this weekend, or anytime!
INGREDIENTS
❤️1 Egg
❤️1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
❤️2 tbsps Maple Syrup (more for topping)
❤️1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
❤️1 cup Almond Flour
❤️2 2/3 tbsps Arrowroot Powder
❤️1/2 tsp Cinnamon
❤️1 tsp Baking Powder
❤️1/2 cup Strawberries (these will be blended, keep some for topping if you’d like)
❤️1 1/2 tsps Coconut Oil (divided)
❤️1 tbsp Rainbow Sprinkles (pink & red)
❤️1 cup Cool Whip
DIRECTIONS
❤️In a food processor, add the eggs, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Process until well-combined.
❤️In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, arrowroot powder, cinnamon and baking powder.
❤️In a blender or food processor blend the strawberries until they become a sauce consistency.
❤️Slowly combine the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and process until well combined. (leaving out the strawberry sauce)
❤️Coat the waffle maker with some coconut oil and add enough batter to cover the bottom of your maker.
❤️Take some strawberry sauce and drizzle through the waffle to make a marble pattern.
❤️Cook the waffles for about 5 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat the process until all the batter is cooked.
❤️To serve, top with whipped cream, sprinkles and maple syrup, if using. Enjoy!
