If your hand is raised (like mine) I have GREAT NEWS! Carbs aren’t the enemy!! 🙌
If you thought you had to avoid carbs to reach your goals, I don’t blame you! People are always talking about keto and low-carb diets or the struggle of giving up bread to lose weight. Thankfully, cutting them out altogether isn’t the (only) answer.
There are tons of reasons to eat carbs!
Here are just a few, and why you shouldn’t be afraid to eat them throughout your fitness journey:
✅ There are many healthy carbs like whole-wheat bread, potatoes, oatmeal, veggies, fruits, and beans.
✅ Carbs don’t cause weight gain (excess calories cause weight gain).
✅ Most fibre is made of carbs, and you need fibre for weight maintenance and heart health.
✅ Carbs help make a healthy gut.
✅ Workouts won’t improve without carbs and can even worsen performance.
So girl enjoy that pasta, enjoy the bread.. also remember fruits and veggies are carbs too, just full of fiber!
Use all their benefits to your advantage in your fitness journey!
